If your Centurion D5 SMART gate motor is still working well but the outer housing has been damaged, cracked or badly weathered, replacing the cover can be a much more economical option than replacing the complete motor.
The D5 SMART was redesigned with a SMART removable outer cover that can be taken off easily to access the components inside the operator. The enclosure forms part of the D5 SMART’s protective design, which was developed with an increased flood line to help protect the sensitive electronics housed inside the operator.
This makes the replacement cover a useful DIY maintenance item when the original housing has been damaged, but the motor, gearbox and electronics are still serviceable.
Compatibility Note: Suitable for Centurion D5-Evo motors. If you have an original D5/CP80 or a D5 SMART, choose the replacement cover designed for that specific motor generation.
